What is Assisi Alignment™?

Assisi Alignment™ is a meditative exercise flow that helps you to find healing and peace through breath work, gentle and trauma releasing stretches and slow muscle strengthening movements. Each element is scientifically backed as a way to restore wholeness and healing to the body, and as a therapeutic tool to equip you with for moments long after the end of each session. 

There are 3 flows with which you can interact and, in all these spaces, we lay the foundations for healing, peace and restoration to take place. Every strength flow is drawn from the most commonly prescribed exercises for rehabilitation and prehabilitation; and each stretch has been proven to decrease cortisol or help to let go of trauma stored in your body. 

Taken from modern scientific research and combined with some of the most ancient traditions of time, Assisi Alignment™ helps you to experience wellness in a new way. This is not quite meditation, nor yoga, nor pilates – this is sprinkle of each, brought together into a unique and safe space for you to leave behind the busy world, to breathe deeply, to become centred and to repair your body, mind and spirit in one place.

3 Different Flows

Agape

This flow is a deeply meditative experience that focuses on the healing experience of love and its effects on the body, mind and spirit. In this stream, we will repeat breath chants as we are led through a guided meditation and therapeutic exercises designed to help you to process pain through the lens of being deeply known and loved.

Rapha

In this flow, we facilitate engagement in rehabilitative and prehabilitative exercises that target the primary causes of physical pain throughout your body. This is quiet, peaceful and reflective session with slow movements to help you focus on holistic restoration. We also will lead you through stretches and exercises that are soothing to the parasympathetic nervous system.

Pneuma

This flow is focused on intentional breathwork to help bring peace to your nervous system and realign the imbalances of your body’s stress response system. In this flow, we will also facilitate stretches and movements that support the reset of your nervous system and the stimulation of your vagus nerve in order to restore your body, mind and spirit to harmony.
